Neurotoxins are compounds in which smooth out fine lines, wrinkles and deep facial furrows. There are several brands of these toxins but the most common is BOTOX® Cosmetic. We also carry Dysport® and Xeomin® and can discuss the differences at your appointment. These treatments can last between 3-4 months and sometimes longer on certain individuals.

Who Should consider botox?
Neuromodulators such as BOTOX® Cosmetic, Dysport® and Xeomin® is for patients in good health aged 20 to 70, who are interested in reducing facial and neck lines. Our highly experienced staff will work with you to evaluate which specific treatments are right for you. what do i expect during treatment?
First, we create a treatment plan that’s customized for you. Since neurotoxins provide temporary results, your plan will likely include 3-4 visits per year to achieve optimal results while maintaining a consistent look.
A neurotoxin chosen by your injector and yourself is administered in a series of targeted injections that normally take about 10-15 minutes. Afterward, there’s a brief waiting period to make sure you haven’t had an adverse reaction (a rare occurrence). Then, you may return to your daily routine. You may notice some minor swelling or redness, but each normally dissipate within an hour.
when will i see results?
After treatment, many people begin noticing that lines start smoothing in 24 to 48 hours depending on the product that was used. Improvement continues for several days afterward and takes its full effect 2 weeks after injection. Treatments last for three to four months before they need to be repeated. The long-term treatment plan you create with our staff will determine when to schedule your next treatment.
